Providers & Partners

If you are a provider or organization interested in working together, we’d love to hear from you. We are actively seeking partnerships with midwives, educators, doulas, and aligned providers. If you are interested in joining this resource—through partnership, space-sharing, referral, or training collaboration—reach out.

Our work is deeply shaped by the OHA Women’s Health Executive Summary and the Waimea Community Report. We encourage our community members to read through this research and engage with us in collaborative efforts to celebrate the beauty of our community and families.

“Mahalo to Tutu’s House and Friends of the Future for offering us an accessible community space for enrichment programs.”

Partner Opportunities Include

  • Participation in training and apprenticeship programs

  • Shared care and referral models

  • Subleasing of clinical space

  • Integration into the birth center’s clinical and educational framework

Funders & Donors

“Heart-felt gratitude to the staff, volunteers and members of the American Association of Birth Centers (AABC) in their efforts to expand access to the midwifery model of care across the country, building bridges for community-based providers, and for their current role in this initiative as our fiscal sponsor & scholarship support. “

With the support of AABC, all donations for Lehua Community Birth Center are tax-deductible.

Any and all support builds upon this unique opportunity for Hawaiʻi Island to co-create care. Your contributions will directly fund:

  • Workforce development programs and student support

  • Community education and enrichment

  • Infrastructure and facility development

  • Advocacy for sustainable midwifery reimbursement

Feel free to contact us directly to learn more about how your donations will help build a community-led resource for us now and for the next generation.
